We are almost at the end of the campaign. What ride this has been. Thank you again for all the love and support. We are 900% funded, more than 1500 backers in, all stretch goals unlocked (except the last one!) and the community is already creating tons of new content for the game at the Discord Server and the Swings Hard With FLAIL game jam at itch. I have just released a new released a new FLAIL module through the Patreon (number #06): Cult of the Mutant Mutton. Something went horribly wrong, no one remembers what happen exactly, but a sheep was mutated into a grotesque-two-headed-too-many-eyes sort of thing. The villagers threw it into the well, but then they started to kinda grow fond it. Over time, fear twisted into reverence and a strange sheep cult was formed.

Like all others, this is a grab-and-go module. Requires almost zero prep. Use it if you need an odd cult for some reason, or if you feel like fleshing out a random village your players pass through, or if you just wanna play a fun one-shot.

Also, the maps on this one are by the legend himself, Skullfungus !

As you know, we already have a couple of online tools: the item card studio and the hexcrawl toolbox app. If we hit the €150k mark in these last 3 days, we will add a new dungeon generator tool in there. The tool will make use of the tables in the rulebook so that you can quickly generate a dungeon, wizard tower or cave. Maybe i'll even expand those tables to add more variety. Dunno, let's see how well this goes. Can we make it happen?!

In FLAIL, Wizards choose a master to apprentice under, unlocking cool customs spells which are only available this way. Choose between Flakumeg, the Flame Whisperer, OR Û-Kraal, the Shadow Manipulator, OR Choo-Choo, Master of Deceit, and others.

If you hop over to FLAIL's official website, you may find a couple of free online tools: the item card studio and the hexcrawl toolbox app.

With the Hexcrawl Toolbox app, you can easily generate hexcrawl and maps for your own games. Choose hexes from nine different biomes - desert, forest, jungle, mountains, ocean, pastoral, steppes, swamp and weird/alien - and mix them freely to create unique settings tailored to your adventures.



With Item Card Studio, you can quickly select or create item cards for your own games. Choose from the full range of items available in FLAIL, or design your own by uploading an image and customising every detail to match your vision. Then, upload it to the sheet and print. Simple!

There's a growing community of FLAIL gamers, GMs and third-party creators emerging on our Discord Server. I wanna publicly thank everyone who has joined already and taken part in awesome debates to clarify certain rules of the game, or to offer suggestions on how to improve it, or to share game reports, or to contribute with new content, etc etc etc. We even have a game room where people are actively playing, plus a Dice Bot now. Join the server and make a To Hit roll to see if you land a Death Blow :D

Don't forget SWINGS HARD WITH FLAIL JAM is live on itch right now. There are already some very cool entries/submissions which you can totally download and check out. The game jam runs until the end this campaign so you still have time to submit content if you wish.
